14 year old Chester scanned the dark store. He was looking for a box of bullets needed for a gun he’d stolen a few nights ago. The alarm had been going off for 3 minutes now, and his partner in crime could be heard from outside edging him to hurry things up. 2 additional minutes were wasted before he finally located what he’d come for. As he exited his point of entry, He noticed that his partner was nowhere to be seen. The only thing to see were the police cruisers that surrounded the building. Chester was going to prison. After 35 years of repeating this very same revolving pattern, his life completely changed. Instead of losing, Chester started winning. But how? How was Chester able to repair his life? These experiences have not only strengthened us, but have also assisted in helping each and everyone of us live out some pretty unique stories. Stories that have help strengthen and define others living similar experiences. So listen up People, your story is just as important as anyone else’s. The things you’ve been able to get through and the lessons that you have learned are so valuable to a person that may need to hear how you were able to overcome. So the next time you hear of someone going through a rough situation. Try associating what they are going through with a story of yours explaining how you were able to actually make it through what they are going through. Your story is your way of telling the world how you made it. So tell all.
