The Importance Of Your Presence


Good Morning People!!!


Chuck walked into the conference hall with a grace in his movements that spoke of nothing but pure positive energy. His face lit up like the moon while his eyes twinkled like the stars. He could feel the negativity in the room slowly push away from him as he travelled about, and even as he made his way around, he could feel the tension in the room start to ease. Everyone loved Chuck. Just by having him in the vicinity seemed to changed the energy in the room. He complimented, and struct up conversations that made people snicker with amusement. He was indeed, Mr. Positive. This rubbed off on almost everyone he encountered and because of it, people loved having him around. By the time he’d made his first journey around the room the climate had totally changed. Everyone now had something positive to talk about. Chuck’s charismatic energy had helped add a little joy to the room.


I am back from the Big Apple my Weekday Warriors and even though it was fun while it lasted, there’s no place like home. Your KC metro area weather starts off in the lower 60’s and eases up into the mid 80’s by mid noon. Todays topic is on ‘The Importance Of Your Presence’.


When you walk in a room full of other people, how do they respond? Are they happy to see you coming, or are they a little stand offish? This question can only be answered by first figuring out how well you represent who you truly are in front of others. So listen up People. If you want your presence to be remembered, leave the impression that will positively promote the person you are instead of the one that leave a negative memory. People have a tendency of remembering the person that makes them smile than frown. So the next time you enter into a room make sure you leave the room with something to remember you for.
