The Importance Of Your Next Move

Good Afternoon, People!!!

In 1972, what became known as “The Match of the Century” took place in Iceland. It was the World Chess Championship between challenger Bobby Fischer of the United States and defending champion Boris Spassky of the Soviet Union. Spassky was a cunning player who had spent a great deal of time studying Fischer’s style of play, so he felt confident that he would eliminate Fischer’s chances of winning the world chess title.

What Spassky didn’t anticipate was playing 21 games of chess against one of the most unpredictable players he had ever sat across from. You see, Fischer anticipated Spassky’s approach, and in order to throw him off, he spent the months leading up to the match moving in ways he had never done before. This completely threw Spassky off his game, and after only 40 moves in the 21st game, Spassky forfeited the competition.

Fischer eliminated him because Spassky simply couldn’t compete with what he couldn’t see coming.

Happy Freedom Friday my Weekday Warriors!

Perfect day for sunny weather in the Kansas City metro area! Expect today’s temperatures to reach the low-to-mid 50s with lots of sunshine and mostly clear skies, with a cooler low tonight near the upper 20s.

Your topic for today is on ‘The Importance Of Your Next Move.’

We all want to succeed in life. What is most important in making sure this is achievable is making the right moves that help you maneuver through life. As you make these moves, your way of thinking will be the determining factor in how well you strategically position yourself.

But listen up, People—everyone isn’t trying to see you make the right moves. So as you maneuver through life, make sure your thinking, as well as your movements, get quieter. Learn to keep your best moves to yourself by avoiding the details, because when you avoid those details, you hinder someone else’s derailment.

So the next time you are planning your next move, remember ole Bobby Fischer and never let em see you coming.

I’m International Speaker Dr Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me again for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
