For you to be born today from just (12) previous generations you needed a total of 4094 ancestor’s over the last 400 years to also be born. Think of all of the sperm cells that had to make it through in order to piece together your genetic and biological makeup. Now how many struggles or battles and difficulties, how much joy or sadness, or expressions of hope for the future did your ancestors have to endure for you to exist in this world today? I’d say nothing short of a miracle.
