Thomas was a very lucky man. He once had a boat that almost sunk due to flooding rain, but because he double checked the pumps to make sure they were all properly working before he left that day, he was able to prevent the flooding rain from building up inside of the boat. His luck didn’t stop there. Soon after, Thomas bought a lottery ticket from the local convenient store. That night he checked to see if the ticket was a winner. After finding out that none of his numbers lined up Thomas almost tossed the ticket. Something told him to hold on to it. A day later, while at the local convenient store, he checked the ticket and found out that he had originally been a day off from the actual drawing. He won over a billion dollars

Happy First Friday of the year my Weekday Warrior!! After you get off work today, try adding an hour or so of reading a self educating book or listening to some positive content. Let’s start off this year utilizing our down time to lift us up. Todays weather in the KC metro area’s looking like a high of 48 with a low of 24 degrees. Imagine leaving your house for work in the morning with the thought that you forgot to do something important before you left. You’re sitting in the car debating on returning to double check, but instead of following your first mind, you head to work. An hour later you get the call that your house is burning down. Listen up People, Verifying to make sure things are as they should be has never been anyone’s bad idea. Learning to double check and verify even the smallest of things can save you precious time and valuables in the long run so if you get that small inclination to take one more a look at things, be like Nikey and ‘Just Do it’.
