The Importance Of Thinking Positive

There is a painting that once hung in the Louvre Museum of Paris some time ago called ‘Checkmate’. The particular masterpiece was painted by Friedrich Moritz August Retzsch and depicts an earthly man battling for his soul in a chess game against the Devil. In the painting, the Devil wears an arrogant grin on his face while appearing to have placed the earthly man in the checkmate position. On the opposite end of the table, the man seems to be in a deep trance. The position he’s in could very well be the final nail in the man’s coffin. If he think’s for one second that he’s finished and that he will not be able to free himself from his ‘Check’ he’ll probably never see that he still has one more move to ‘Mate’.
