Good Morning, People!!!
I grew up in a household with only my mom and my brothers. At one point, there were six of us brothers with just my mom to take the brunt of all our behaviors. There was no dad, so you can imagine the trials and tribulations we put her through. When something happened—like something being found broken or missing—it was almost impossible to pinpoint who did it.
This would not stop her from punishing the culprit, though. She would line us all up and ask who did it. Of course, we would all deny any involvement, and this is when she would give us a block of time to figure it out. Someone would have to man up and tell the truth, or else we all got punished. Someone had to confess, or the innocent would suffer.
Happy Hump Day Wednesday my Weekday Warriors! And happy midweek grind to you all!! Today’s KC metro area weather is a bit cooler, with temperatures starting out in the upper 30’s and climbing to around 48 by mid afternoon. Gonna be a cooler one today so jacket it up People! Today’s topic is on ‘The Importance Of The Right Support’.
Face it, we all make mistakes. And since no one is perfect, we will most likely make them in the future as well. What’s more important than the actual mistake is how you recover from it. The best way to do this is to accept your blame.
So, listen up, People. Pointing the finger at someone else isn’t solving your problem. Accepting fault, learning from it, and growing because of it is. Learn to man up to your mistakes and stop deflecting responsibility. You will never excel if you refuse to learn the lesson. So the next time you screw up, own it.
