The Importance Of Playing Your Cards

Good Morning People!!!

Richie Parker, of Beaufort, South Carolina, wasn’t born with all of the capabilities that most of us were born with. You see, Richie wasn’t born with arms. Despite the obstacles of not having all of his limbs, Richie not only learned to dress and groom himself, but also how to, pretty much, do almost everything everyone else knew how to do. He even learned to drive his own car. But wait. Instead of letting his physical challenges separate him from the rest, Richie chose to overcome the odds. And just when you thought someone with this kind of disability would be limited to your basic occupation, Richie didn’t settle there either.  He happens to also be a top engineer working at Hendrix Motor Sports for NASCAR. Now that’s what you call high performance.

Happy Throwback Thursday my Weekday Warriors! Today‘s that day again and if you’ve been rocking with me for a minute now, you know what I do on Thursday’s. I give you a blast from the passed. Expect your Kansas City weather to start off in the upper 50’s and reach a high of 80 degrees by mid noon. Your topic for today is on ‘The Importance Of Playing With The Cards You’re Dealt’.

While playing the card game ‘Spades’, it’s very important to be dealt a hand that provides you an adequate amount of winning books to take for you and your partner. But sometimes even with a winning hand, things can easily go south. And sometimes even with a, not so good hand, if you play your cards right, you can set the opposing team and take the game for yourself.  So listen up People, in some cases we hold no control of the situation, but when life deals you a bad hand, never fold. Play your hand til the end because you never know when you may catch a lucky break. The cards you are dealt don’t matter as much as how you play the game. So do me a favor, when life feels like it’s dealing you an unfair advantage, continue to play on ‘Player’.
