Bill, a skilled hunter, tracked down the injured deer he had just shot. As he scanned the forest floor, he noticed not just the blood trail of the deer, but another set of fresh tracks. Aware of danger, Bill slowed his pace, keeping his senses alert. As he closed in on the wounded deer, a rustle in the bushes revealed the looming presence of a  bear. Thanks to his attention to detail and his keen awareness of the environment, Bill avoided a potentially deadly encounter. As he backed out of this situation, the bear, seizing its opportunity, claimed the deer for itself. How well are you paying attention to what’s going on around you? What dangers are you avoiding?
