In the book ‘Think & Grow Rich’ by Napoleon Hill, the uncle of R. U. Darby ventured west to take his shot at digging and growing rich. After finding one of the riches gold mines in the areas history he called in his nephew Darby and other supporters to help extract the gold.  A few days into drilling something happened.  They lost the trail. After a week of digging and trying to reconnect with the gold mine and finding nothing Darby & Uncle aborted the mission. They sold all of the digging equipment to a local junk man who was also smart enough to bring in an expert to look the mine over. The mining engineer found the reconnecting gold mine just 3ft from where Darby and his crew stopped digging. The junk man took in millions.

I never understood how people put so much time and effort into doing something just to almost get it completed and quit before they actually reach the goal. All of that used energy just to fall short from gold. Listen up People, there are so many great things on the other side of the finish line if you only allow yourself the opportunity of actually finishing what you started. Learning to follow through on the things you set out to accomplish will make a winner out of you more than it will the loser. So the next time you feel like giving up and giving in is an option, just remember this, the distance between your dreams and reality is called action.
