The Importance of Forecasting

Good Morning People!!

Tracy. The infamous adventurous risk-taker. She doesn’t like to plan, doesn’t like to delegate, and definitely can’t stand having too many options to choose from. She just likes to take things one day at a time—go with the flow.

On this particular day, Tracy decided to have the hardtop cover on her 1972 classic Chevrolet K5 Blazer removed for a weekend drive up the coast. It would be a four-hour drive to her destination, but the view, along with the wind blowing through her hair, would make the time go by a lot faster.

Unfortunately, her view and the wind would not be the only things tagging along with her on this journey. She would also be traveling with a very heavy storm front.

If only she had checked ahead for the day’s weather conditions. 🌧️

Happy Hump Day, my Weekday Warriors! Today starts off with a little drizzle and cool temperatures in the low 40’s across the KC metro area. Expect cloudy skies through the morning with temperatures climbing to around 51 degrees by mid-afternoon. Your topic for today is on “The Importance of Forecasting.”

We all have a tendency to just “wing it” sometimes. You know, roll with the punches by just going with the flow. But what happens when the flow turns into a full-blown tsunami? There are a lot of things that we can’t control, but by simply preparing yourself and getting ahead of the game, you could save yourself dearly.

So listen up, People: learning the art of forecasting helps give you an estimated or predicted assumption of what you should be expecting. By knowing and understanding what’s to be expected, you give yourself the opportunity to gauge the proper responses.

So the next time you feel like dropping the top on the convertible, just remember to check ahead for those clear skies first. 🌤️
