The Importance Of Finishing What You Start

Good Morning People!!!

R. U. Darby and his uncles, headed west to mine for gold. Not long after reaching and prospecting in the Colorado mountains, they got lucky and discovered a fault line of ore that could make them all filthy rich. After gathering up investors and going to mine the area, they began collecting the gold until they hit the end of the fault line. After trying to pick up the trail and not succeeding, they stopped and sold all of the equipment to a local junk man who just so happened to be smart enough to hire an architect.  The architect found the connection to the lost fault line just 3 feet from where Darby and his uncle stopped digging. The mine ended up bringing in millions. Because they stopped just shy of their fortune, Darby and Company only walked away with pebbles, while the junk man walked away a wealthy man.

Happy Hump Day my Weekday Warriors! Today was a cold one but the worst is yet to come. Your KC metro area weather starts out in the mid teens and only hits the upper 30’s today. Your topic is on ‘The Important Of Finishing What You Start’.

Isn’t it funny how it’s so easy to start a project, but when those trials and tribulations start showing up, it becomes much easier for us to just give in and quit? The expectations of success are always the call to action, but when the journey throws in a few bumps and holes in the road we tend to exit at the next available off ramp. Well listen up People. Stop giving in so easy to defeat and keep on digging until you finally get that gold you’ve been searching for. It just doesn’t make sense to put in all of that hard work just to stop 3 feet from gold. So the next time you start something that you believe deserves to be finished, do just that and finish.
