The Importance Of Dodging The Sticks & Avoiding The Stones

Good Morning People!!

To avoid all of the jokes, Daphne sat in the schools cafeteria at a table as far away from the other kids as she could. Because of her Greek accent, she was always the butt end of everyone’s humor. The jokes didn’t really bother Daphne because she was already comfortable with who she was. She just didn’t like the bad energy she got from everyone when she was placed in the center of attention. You see Daphne understood that words are the reflection of who they come from and not the receiver and because of this truth, she knew that the only way the insults would effect her is if she let them. Because of her cool nature and her ability to absorb the spotlight, she became quite popular amongst her classmates.

Happy Motivational Monday my Weekday Warriors! The weekend is over and the push is once again in front of us and so is this weird KC weather. Today’s weather starts off just below freezing and hits the upper 40’s just inside of noon! Today’s topic is on ‘The Importance Of Dodging The Sticks & Avoiding The Stones’.

Humans can say some of the nastiest things to other humans. The damage that may occur from some of these nasty things can result in someone’s feelings being severely damaged and when this happens, the effect that takes place on the inside of that person can reflect negatively outwards. So listen up People. Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will never hurt you and that’s only if you make the wise choice of not letting them. Learn how to control your emotional reaction to those negative words thrown at you by others, because toleration is the key and having full control of how you respond to what others may say, is how you unlock the door to your mental freedom.
