Good Morning People!!!
Back in 2019 while out door dashing I decided to stop by my brother Tyson’s house for one of our garage talks. We’d simply sit out in the garage, shoot the breeze, and catch up on all of our life events. This particular visit would help remind me that giving up was not an option. You see, this man has been the longest and most consistent father figure in my life. This man has also witnessed me fail in every stage of my life as well. To hear him tell me how proud he was of me, my changes, and all of my accomplishments, was enough to send me into overdrive. It felt good hearing someone reward me with a positive acknowledgment. It felt even better coming from him.
Happy Hump Day, Weekday Warriors! We have officially reached the crest of the week so it’s all down hill from here! Today in the Kansas City metro, expect a pleasant day with partly cloudy skies and highs near the mid-60s.
Your topic today is “The Importance of Compliments.”
Did you know that just by giving a simple compliment to someone else, you help build relationships, improve communication skills, motivate others, boost self-esteem, and even build self-confidence? Well, now you do.
Listen up, people—by letting others see the good that you see in them, you help them see the good in themselves. Never underestimate the power of an unexpected compliment. A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal.
You see, the best and most beautiful things in the world aren’t seen or touched—they are emotionally felt.
So today, I want you to do me a favor: randomly give someone you don’t know an unexpected compliment and keep it moving. In doing so, you may very well help change the course of their day.
I’m International Speaker Dr. Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me again for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
