The Importance of Clarity

Good Morning People!!
Two years ago, I decided to upgrade my insurance by adding something to the policy that I would normally pass on: a vision policy. I had been waking up every morning, and for some reason, I was finding it harder and harder for my eyes to focus and adjust when I first opened them. My wife suggested that I get an eye exam. I did, and never in a million years was I expecting to receive the results I got that day.
All my life, I rocked that 20/20 vision, and at age 47, I now needed bifocals. I would have to wear glasses to see. As depressing as it seemed, when I finally got my prescription glasses and put them on, instead of feeling much older, I actually felt young again.
Happy Motivational Monday, my Weekday Warriors! The sun is shining again, so it’s back to the grind . Expect Kansas City metro area weather to start at 68 degrees and rise into the mid-80s this afternoon. Your topic for today is “The Importance of Clarity.”
Did you know that your eyes are actually the secondary tool used to see? Crazy, right? You see, your eyes are only meant to view the world visually, but your mind, on the other hand, is how we see things mentally. Your mind’s sight is actually your main source of vision, yet we spend so much time depending on the perceptions of what our eyes tell us that we’ve become blind to the things that are really going on.
Well, listen up, people—if your mind’s sight is blindfolded, it really doesn’t matter what your eyesight tells you. Learn to seek out true clarity by adjusting your mind’s eye and focusing on the world not just from your visual view, but also your mental one.
So the next time you go looking for truth, make sure your mind is also looking as well.
