The Importance Of Burning The Boat

Good Morning People!!!

In 2017 I decided to jump ship. I decided that I was tired of working for someone else’s twisted dream. Sitting back watching all of the mistakes and bad choices just didn’t settle well with me so before the boat started sinking I came to the conclusion that it was the best time to head for shore. I started planning my route and once I was sure enough of myself, I quit. Shore was a long ways away and the waters were treacherous. I knew that it would be a long and dangerous journey to ground again and the temptation to turn back would be my only negative strain so to insure that there would be no thought of turning back I struck a match and lit up the ocean sky with flames.

Happy throwback Thursday my Weekday Warriors!! We have reached this day again and you know what happens on Thursday’s! I hit you with a blast from the past! Today in the KC metro area we’ve got a low of 39 degrees with a high of 63 degrees. Todays message is on ‘The Importance Of Burning The Boat’.

It can be a little scary taking chances and experiencing that overwhelming feeling of a major risk. Take the chance anyway. Experience the risk. Do what ever, but don’t turn back and run in the opposite direction. This can sometimes be hard to do if there’s always something to run back to. Listen up People, if there is something that holds the promise of anchoring you down, learn to make your escape and destroy any chances of your return. Learn to keep your eyes in front of you and focus on moving forward. When your flame is lit, burn any chances of a retreat. This will leave you with only one direction to move towards. When the feeling of fear starts keeping in always remember this;

No retreat… No surrender..

It’s ya boy Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me again for another powerful morning message. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
