The Importance Of Breaking The Cycle


Good Morning People!!!


Harriet cringed and slightly touched her cheek after she received the slap to the face from her husband. Their daughter watched in horror as see witnessed her mom take the hit. As he continued beating her, her mom never fought back. Watching this take place did something to the little girl that day. 20 years later, the very same little girl, barely stood, in the living of her apartment. With one black eye and a few scratches, she held her 4 year old daughter in one hand, and a single suitcase in the swollen other. The 4 year old had just watched her mom take a punch to the face from her father. She then watched as her mom broke her father’s jaw. Watching this all take place did something to the little girl that day. 20 years later, that very same little girl was stronger than ever.


Happy Monday my Weekday Warriors!! The grind is back, so let us get back to servicing other people. Todays weather in the KC metro area will be nice and cool, with temps starting off in the lower 60’s and only reaching the lower 70’s by end of day. Your morning topic is on ‘The Importance Of Breaking The Cycle’.   


We often get caught up in the habits we pick up from our earlier influencers. Their strengths become our strengths. But just as so, those weaknesses are bonded to is as well. These are the habits that help form generational curses. My question to you is this. Are you letting someone else’s habits define you? Are you keeping up their unpleasant traditions? Well listen up People. When the revolving door only brings about a negative pattern, learn the right time to step out of it. If it isn’t continuing to bring about the good things, it may be your time to bring about something new. Bottom line is this. The cycle must end. Why not let it start with you.
