The Importance Of Asking The Question. ‘What Are You Doing For Yourself?’

Good Morning People!!!

Travis was turning 46 years old in 3 days. Although he’d lived an interesting life, he wasn’t married, had no kids and still wasn’t sure with what he wanted to do with it. He’d spent most of his life jumping from job to job during the day and living the unscheduled life at night. What was he going to do now? What could he do? He felt that it was too late for him to start an actual career, too old to find a partner to add years with and too uneducated to learn anything new. Until one day, while scrolling one of the social media’s, Travis stumbled across an inspiring post that told the story of ole Colonel Sanders and how at 65 he was able to jumpstart a franchise business while using only his $105 social security check. Using this as encouragement, Travis decided to open up a travel agency. He now travels the world while he works.

Happy Manhattan Monday all of the way from NYC my Weekday Warriors!! The weather here in New York isn’t that much different from KC and other than the traffic, it feels like home. Your Kansas City weather starts out in the mid 50’s but reaches a high of 87 by mid day. Todays Topic is on ‘Answering The Question. What Are You Doing For Yourself’.

There are 168 hours in a week. On average, we spend about 56 of those hours sleeping and an additional 40 of them working. This leaves us with 72 hours to actually plan and develop our lives into something that we can be proud of. But what are you doing with those 3 full days each week? Listen up People. Every morning you wake, you are being granted another chance to live out the opportunity of a life time. Do something with it that will leave you regret free at the end of it all. Something like developing yourself into something greater than you were the year before. Life is short so the more time we procrastinate away, the more likely we will miss out on our God given purpose. So instead of waking up to only live, start waking up to fulfill.

Your strongest support is often invisible.

It’s the people behind the scenes who don’t need the spotlight. The ones speaking your name in rooms you’re not in. The ones pushing you forward quietly while you’re busy doing the work. They don’t po
